For my thesis project, my team and I developed lab-grown leather made from kombucha. Our theme focused on biomaterials, following the development of sustainability for the future of the fashion industry. After months of preparation, we created a corset as our final result.

“TYING STREETWEAR AND ELEGANCE”
This project consisted in using recycled materials to make a garment. I used leftover fabric and shoe laces from around the house. The whole bodysuit and skirt are made only from those two materials. The fabric and design represent elegance; the shoelaces streetwear. Photography, creative direction and styling were also made by me.

This project was inspired by ADHD awareness through the figure of Alexander McQueen who struggled with mental health. The boards represent various symptoms such as lack of focus and memory loss in a visually creative way.
